About Us

For over 25 years, Odyssey has created award-winning content that entertains, engages, and transforms audiences. Our productions have aired on Hallmark Channel, OWN, A&E, GSN, CBS, Smithsonian, National Geographic, BBC, History, and Discovery; winning critical acclaim and setting ratings records.

Our 2011 documentary Serving Life, executive-produced by Forest Whitaker, has won 12 awards including the Humanitas Prize, and the prestigious CINE Special Jury Award and CINE Master Award. Odyssey is currently producing a feature-length documentary about the aftermath of the shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT, documenting the healing process in Newtown over the course of the first crucial year through the lens of the spiritual leaders of the community, the clergy.

Our first foray in to game show territory, The American Bible Challenge, shattered network records at Game Show Network and has been renewed for a 3rd season to premiere in 2014. The American Bible Challenge, hosted by comedian Jeff Foxworthy and featuring musical co-host Kirk Franklin, won the Movie Guide Awards Epiphany Prize for Most Inspiring Television Program in 2013.

Our films; Love Comes Softly, Loves Enduring Promise, The Note, Taking a Chance on Love, and Notes From The Heart Healer have been huge ratings successes with Hallmark Channel and are adored by both fans and critics.

Currently we’re in production on four films … Stranded In Paradise based on the novel by Lori Copeland, For Better or For Worse based on the novel by Diann Hunt, My Life as Doormat based on the novel by Rene Gutteridge, all for Hallmark Channel, and Paper Angels based on the book by country singer Jimmy Wayne for UP.
